The European University of Applied Sciences (EUFH) is a state accredited private university in Brühl near Cologne that offers industry-specific courses in business studies. Brühl is a town in the Rhineland, Germany. It is located in the district Rhein-Erft-Kreis, 20 km south of the Cologne city center and at the edge of the Kottenforst-Ville nature reserve and easy access to the rest of the industrial heartland of Germany, including the cities of Düsseldorf and Bonn.

Students enroll directly in one of two Business curricula taught in English. Attendance is vital to academic success at EUFH. Final exams take place during the last two weeks of each semester. If a student misses 10% or more of their classes, they will not be allowed to take final exams.

Just a short tram ride away from Brühl is the city of Cologne, filled with cultural and historical sites, museums, and an active art scene. Check out the famous street carnival and the “Kölner Lichter” fireworks, shop around the city, or join a guided bike tour. Visit Bonn, the native city of the extraordinary musician Beethoven.

On-campus housing is not provided. Most students live in shared flats off-campus rather than alone. Students are assisted by the EUFH International Office for housing needs.
