A good example would be the Aboriginal Art Gallery where visitors can learn about the Aboriginal culture of the traditional land owners of the Lismore area, the Bundjalung People, through the artwork they’ve created.

Australia in general has amazing outdoor opportunities, but Lismore in particular boasts the nearby rain forest which is recognized as a World Heritage Site. Hiking opportunities are also abundant in the nearby Nimbin area.

Other nearby attractions include Byron Bay, a popular surfing destination for travelers, locals, and backpackers alike. The beach is noted for whale watching and other significant wildlife.
