IIE American Passport Project
Student Nomination Eligibility Criteria
Students who meet the following eligibility criteria, and have expressed interest, will be nominated to receive the funding for their U.S. passport application fee.- U.S. citizen;
- First-year student, 18 years of age or older;
- Pell grant eligible;
- and, Meets any of these diversity identity characteristics: racial/ethnic minorities, LGBTQIA+ students, gender diverse students, first-generation student (first in family to attend or graduate from a college or university), students with disabilities, students with demonstrated financial need, veterans, non-traditional age students, students who have never traveled abroad, or other historically marginalized or underrepresented identities in study abroad at the institution.
