Student Nomination Eligibility Criteria

Students who meet the following eligibility criteria, and have expressed interest, will be nominated to receive the funding for their U.S. passport application fee.
 

• U.S. citizen;
• First-year student, 18 years of age or older;
• Pell grant eligible;
• First time passport (If you’ve had a U.S. passport as a minor – age 15 years or younger – that is no longer active, we would consider you not having an adult
  passport). *Students who are trying to renew an adult U.S. passport are not eligible.
• and, Meets any of these diversity identity characteristics: racial/ethnic minorities, LGBTQIA+ students, gender diverse students, first-generation student (first in family to attend or graduate from a college or university), students with disabilities, students with demonstrated financial need, veterans, non-traditional age students, students who have never traveled abroad, or other historically marginalized or underrepresented identities in study abroad at the institution.
