Overview

During this 6 week experience, students will have the opportunity to explore the town of Alnwick and the Alnwick Castle.  Alnwick is in northern England and students will reside inside the castle that is home to the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland. To many, it is also known as “the Harry Potter Castle.”  Students take classes while living inside the castle in order to get a better understanding of British Culture. At Alnwick Castle the students will be able to experience the ideas and course content in a way that is impossible to do while sitting in a classroom at St. Cloud, MN.  Living in the country that sparked the modern Wiccan movement and has been at the core of 20th century neo-Paganism offers opportunities to visit places (such as Stonehenge and the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic) that are unique to Britain. This is an amazing experience you will not want to miss out on!
