Fall Short Term Program

Overview

This variable mid-semester short-term program to the UK gives you the chance to spend either 2 or 3 weeks to take 3 or 6 education abroad credits. Led by Geography and British Studies Program professor, Gareth John, students will stay and study in Alnwick Castle in England, and from there explore Northern England and Scotland, including the Lake District, Hadrian's Wall, Edinburgh, Newcastle, and the beautiful Northumberland coast. Students who choose the three-week, 6-credit program, will also travel to Wales and visit the main sites in London. While there, we'll explore various castle and ancient artifacts, view some of Europe's most beautiful cities, explore the beauty of Britain's countryside (in at least two national parks) and experience the best of British culture. Designed for those who wish to study in the UK and visit Alnwick Castle, but who for whatever reason are unable to attend for an entire semester, this mid-semester variable short-term program may offer the perfect solution!
