Overview

This program is great for East Asian studies, general education credits, and TESL minors.  Students will be housed in the dormitories where other international students and locals also study.  While participating in this program, SCSU students conduct weekly English-language tutoring sessions and cultural activities with Korean students in exchange for their help with Korean language and culture. Woosuk University is located in the gorgeous city of Jeonju.  This city is rich with national history, cultural festivals, and of course, food.  In addition, this city is about two hours from Seoul by train.

Academics

To participate in this program, students must take 6 credits of Korean Language & Culture.  Students choose another 6 credits that can either fulfill major or goal area requirements at Saint Cloud State University.  Students should meet with an advisor in the Education Abroad office to review course options.  The credits earned at Woosuk University will transfer back to St. Cloud State University.
